Meet our Team

Diego - Racer Rosa founder and managing director

Diego

Diego founded Racer Rosa in 2010, when he decided to turn his lifetime hobby into a business. Today he’s still the company’s factotum… from managing the bike projects to answering the phone and doing the cleaning. When he manages to get away from the studio, he’s either cycling in the country lanes of Essex or doing ‘Eroica’ rides.

With a background in media she looks after all our published content and is generally busy producing live sports broadcasting. When she can, she relaxes with a good book and if you’ve tasted her home-made brownies, you’ll remember them!

Giuseppe

Giuseppe is a professional bike fitter based in Italy, he generally visits us once a month - he works for racing teams and cycling shops. One great thing about Giuseppe’s credibility as an internationally established ProTour bio-mechanic is that - despite many companies and teams always try to sign him under a contract - he has always remained independent from any brand. He works as an external ‘bike doctor’ and he will always tell you which bike is the best fit for you, any bike from any shop. When he escapes from the cycling world, he is often playing guitar and composing music. To know more about Giuseppe's work in the UK, you can visit his own website here.

Arup Sen - wheel builder

Arup

One of the most respected wheel-builders in the UK, Arup is another invaluable independent collaborator. He builds all our hand-made wheels and also runs workshops teaching wheel-building, both for small groups or one-to-ones. You may be struck by his calm and ‘zen’ approach to building wheels, but don’t be fooled because that’s not all he does… Arup is a multi-talented man and when he’s not busy measuring hubs and discussing the best spokes patterns for your bikes, he can be found - amongst several other things - teaching Yoga, writing code and volunteering for the Samaritans. Learn more about Arup here.

Marcin - bike mechanic

Marcin

Marcin is a ’slow’ mechanic… in the best meaning of the term - and we love him because of that. He is very, very meticulous and he really takes good care of other people’s bikes. Attention to detail is, in our opinion, one of the best skills for a mechanic who works on high-end bicycles. Another great skill for a mechanic is ‘knowledge’; Marcin knows all the cutting edge technologies in the cycling market and you can also talk with him for hours about the history of technical components and brands. When not working Marcin is often bombing down a mountain on his downhill MTB…
